지난 6월 22일 맞춤형 JOB매칭데이 ‘청년 취업을 열다’라는 제목으로 행사를 진행해 눈길을 끌었습니다.
현장은 어떻게 구성돼 있는지, 어떤 청년들이 참여했는지 알아보고자 현장에 방문했습니다..
JOB 매칭데이 ‘청년 취업을 열다’ 행사가 6월 22일 남구 청년일자리카페에서 열렸습니다.
기존에 활용되던 남구 청년일자리카페가 그야말로 작은 축제의 장이라고 생각될 정도로 다채롭게 재구성됐는데요.
‘일자리’라는 테마에 걸맞게 이력서 작성·구직자 품위 유지·실전 면접·강의 등 각각의 구역에서 다양한 프로그램이 진행됐습니다.
마치 축제에 가면 여러 종류의 부스가 있는 것과 비슷한 느낌이네요.
카페 로비에는 방문객들이 쉴 수 있는 공간은 물론, 즉석에서 이력서를 써볼 수 있는 이력서 작성대와 키링·네일아트 체험까지 할 수 있었습니다. 또 증명사진까지 찍을 수 있게 스튜디오에서도 참여했는데요. 구직자들에게 필요한 증명사진을 촬영하기에 좋아 보입니다.
이날 행사에는 4개의 업체가 참여해 현장 면접을 진행했는데요. 일자리카페의 스터디룸을 면접장으로 구성했습니다. 구직 청년은 이날 현장에서 이력서 작성과 사진 촬영, 면접까지 모두 할 수 있었습니다.

제가 지금 청년취업지원제도 1유형을 하고 있는데, 이런 프로그램이 있다는 걸 담당자님이 알려주셔서 오게 됐습니다. 때마침 제가 여기서 5분 거리에 살아서, 가까운 곳에서 이런 행사를 하니 좋은 것 같아요.
Q. 어떤 기업으로의 취업을 염두에 두고 있나요?
사무 관련 직종을 생각 중인데, 현장의 두 개 기업 정도가 관련이 있는 기업인 것 같아서 면접까지 보러 왔습니다.
Q. 남구에서 청년들을 위해 어떻게 해줬으면 좋겠다는 게 있나요?
지금처럼 이런 일자리 관련 프로그램들을 더 많이 운영하고, 그걸로 취업을 할 수 있는 기회를 조금 더 많이 열어줬으면 좋겠어요. 제가 혼자서 취업을 준비해 보려고 하니까 제가 원하는 직무군의 직종을 찾기도 조금 힘들더라구요. 그래도 지금도 충분히 잘 해주셔서 이런 식으로 그냥 유지만 계속돼도 좋을 것 같다고 생각해요.

교육장에서는 현직자의 멘토링으로 인사 직무 설명회가 진행됐는데요. 인사 직무의 주요 내용과 인사담당자의 연간 업무 사례를 들을 수 있는 시간이었습니다.
우리가 흔히 인사 담당자라고 하면 이력서를 검토 및 채용, 인력 운영, 교육 및 평가를 주로 생각하죠? 사내 원활한 업무 수행을 위한 지원 부처라는 느낌이 크게 들었습니다.
즉석에서 모의 면접을 진행하기도 했습니다.
설명회가 끝난 뒤 구직자를 대상으로 한 추첨 행사도 진행됐는데요.

그리고 2부에서는 현직자 멘토링을 진행했습니다. 한국동서발전에 근무하고 계시는 현직자를 모시고 동서발전의 현황 그리고 앞으로 어떤 준비를 하면 입사하는 데 도움이 되는지, 그리고 멘토링 와주신 현직자 선배님은 이직을 세 번 하신 경험이 있으세요. 그 경험을 그대로 녹여서 참여 청년들에게 전달하려고 많은 것들을 준비해 오셨습니다.
그 외에 체험 행사로 퍼스널 컬러 진단, 그리고 현장에서 4개의 기업을 면접 볼 수 있게끔 진행을 했고요. 창업 남구 일자리 종합센터를 통해서 창업하신 세 개 기업을 모시고 창업에 관련된 체험 프로젝트를 진행했습니다. 그렇게 해서 청년들의 여러 가지 니즈를 반영한 프로그램을 구성해 봤는데요. 오늘 많은 분들이 참여해 주셔서 좋은 성과를 얻은 것 같습니다.
