이번 고래축제에서는 멋진 무대공연 외에도 특별히 중장비 까지 투입이 되었다는점! 장생포 고래바다를 연상할수 있는 배를 활용한 퍼포먼스와 함께, 공중에서 사람들의 신비한 공연, 그리고 거대한 LED 인형. 개막식에 함께한 모든 분들은 휘둥그레한 감탄과 환호성이 끊임 없이 나왔답니다.
장생포 일대 전체가 축제현장인 울산 남구 고래축제. 개막식을 본 여행자, 시민이라면 아마 두번째, 세번째, 마지막 날까지 방문을 하게 되었을 거라 생각이 든답니다. 저 역시 그랬었거든요.
하루로는 축제구경을 다 하지 못한다는 점!! 또한 멋진 첫 무대를 보고나면 그다음 무대 행사에 대한 기대가 자신도 모르게 축제의 현장으로 가고 있는 모습을 발견하게 되더라구요.
단순 축제가 아닌 울산 고래축제는 환경을 생각하는.
축제 현장에서는 일회용 사용을 많이 하는데 반해 울산 남구 맛집 부스에서는 일회용 사용을 줄이고 다회용을 사용하는 캠페인도 진행을 하면서 말이죠!!
메인무대 외에도 고래재단에서 진행하는 길거리 음악회를 진행하며, 장생포 고래박물관 앞에서는 축제를 방문하는 분들께서 무대를 가꿔나기도 했답니다.
무대 외에도 2023동행축제도 함께 진행이 되었었는데요, 제가 방문했을 때는 울산대학교 동아리에서 2023 동행축제를 위한 퍼포먼스를 진행하고 있었답니다.
